Frequently asked questions

One prediction is a single variant scored against the stability model. A saturation scan of a 200-residue protein (all 20 amino acids at all positions) would count as 4,000 predictions. The Explorer tier includes up to 50 variants per run and 100 predictions per month total. Research Lab scales to 1,000 predictions per month.
Yes. Sequence data is processed in isolated compute environments and is not used to train or update shared models. Your proprietary sequences remain yours. Enterprise customers may request a data processing agreement and on-premises deployment for additional controls.
Explorer includes a free trial period. We also offer a guided evaluation session for teams considering Research Lab: we run your sequence on the platform and walk through the output together. Contact us to arrange one.
REST API access is available on Research Lab and Enterprise. Explorer is web-interface only. The API returns JSON and includes an OpenAPI spec. Research Lab also includes the Python client library for notebook-based workflows.
You can upgrade at any time; the new plan takes effect immediately with billing prorated. Downgrades apply at the start of the next billing cycle. If you are on an annual plan, contact us and we will handle it directly.
Enterprise SLA terms are negotiated per engagement and typically cover API uptime, response-time guarantees, and data processing obligations. Contact us to discuss your requirements and we will draft terms accordingly.
